Hi I am wondering about this app. Is this program only compatible with android phones?

    • Picture_Alert says:

Picture-Alert only supports Android as of right now. In the future we are thinking of deploying this app to the Blackberry market as well.
Apple restricts 3rd party developers to alter any of their standard apps such as Mail,Photo,Text Messaging… Making Picture-Alert’s functions impossible to run on the iPhone. We are still trying to come up with a solution.
      Thank you for your concern.

The app sounds like a great tool but my only concern is not every child has android phone. An app like this should be compatible with all phones.

We are currently working on developing this app for other platforms as well. Our next platform will be Blackberry.

I had to comment on this app after downloading it a few days ago. This app is PERFECT. I was so surprised on what I found on my daughters phone.
I had to contact my daughters friends parents and even her middle school administration.
Such a high demand for parental control on mobile phones. This app is a lifesaver.

I just bought my son his first cell phone and I’ve been so afraid of the sexting and the cyber-bullying. I’m so glad I found this app. Not to many parental control apps for cell phones target these kinds of issues. Parents should really look into Picture-Alert.

I am looking for something that will help me be accountable to my wife. If I purchase this, will my wife be able to log in from a different device, other than my phone, and see what I have been looking at online?, as well as pictures and texts?

A few questions…1) how does it monitor web browsing? Is this only through any pictures the kids would download?

    2) What if they are using a different email address/not Gmail?
    3) does it block app downloading or just send pictures they may see on the app?
Thanks so much for your help!

    • Picture_Alert says:

Picture-Alert no longer supports monitoring web browsing. The main focus of the app is that it captures images which are taken from the camera or images that are stored within the photos app on the device which may come from email attachments, text message images/videos, internet, and when the device is connects via USB to a computer.
